Hong Kong's Nova Esports emerged victorious at the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3 and took home the lion's share of the $300,000 prize pool last Saturday at SM North EDSA.
Xuan, CY, Wendy, Muci, and Weipit escaped with a razor-thin 4-3 victory over Nongshim RedForce in the best-of-seven series in the finals to claim the championship.
"Congratulations to Nova Esports on winning the Honor of Kings Invitational Season 3," said Senior Director of Level Infinite Global Esports Center James Yang.
"What a historic moment to showcase the excitement and growth of Honor of Kings esports."
Meanwhile, hometown favorites Blacklist International, Elevate, and Rough World Era finished at top 3 to 4, top 5 to 8, and top 9 to 12 respectively.
On top of a successful event, Yang also revealed Honor of King's Esports roadmap in 2025.
Backed with a $15,000,000 investment to grow the ecosystem globally, six new regional leagues will join King Pro League, HoK Professional League in China, and Honor of Kings Brazil Championship.
