Get ready for a high-octane cinematic experience as Filipino business man and politician Chavit Singson teams up with Hollywood action legend JeanClaude Van Damme for an upcoming film set in the Philippines.
Singson disclosed in an exclusive interview with the DAILY TRIBUNE that Vigan, a UNESCO World Heritage City renowned for its Spanish colonial architecture, will be featured in the film.
“‘Yung mga tourist spots natin papakita ko’ (I’ll showcase our tourist spots),” he shared, hinting that the film will highlight the beauty of the Philippines alongside intense action sequences.
Singson and Van Damme recently met in Central Hong Kong to discuss the project, which will be produced by the martial arts superstar himself.
While details on the storyline and cast remain under wraps, the collaboration marks a unique fusion of Western action and Filipino culture.
