Recruitment is underway for a new wave of healthcare professionals poised to make a significant impact in Japan. The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) of the Philippines, in collaboration with the Japan International Corporation of Welfare Services (JICWELS), is excited to announce that applications are now open for 50 nurse (Kangoshi) and 300 certified careworker (Kaigofukushishi) positions under the Japan-Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA).
Selected candidates will benefit from a comprehensive Japanese language training program—six months in the Philippines followed by an additional six months in Japan—designed to prepare them for a rewarding three- to four-year work term at Japanese hospitals and caregiving facilities. The language training is provided free of charge, with a daily living allowance offered throughout the duration of the program.
Moreover, candidates are encouraged to obtain the necessary Japanese licenses for Kangoshi and Kaigofukushishi, which can enhance their long-term career prospects in Japan’s dynamic healthcare sector.
Interested applicants are invited to submit their online applications by 4 April 2025. For further details, please refer to the official DMW announcements available on the DMW website and Facebook.
