Why the new BMW 520i represents practical luxury

The new BMW 520i has a strong look. It comes in four colors: Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Cape York Green and Oxide Grey. The car has 18” light alloy wheels, clear LED headlights and a neat Aluminum Satin Finish trim.

The 520i features a 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo petrol engine with 48V Mild Hybrid Technology. It produces 208 HP and 330 Nm of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission helps it go from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, with a top speed of 230 km/h. The car uses between 6.4 and 5.7 l/100km (WLTP) and has CO2 emissions of 144-130 g/km (WLTP).

Safety is a key part of this car. It has front, side and head curtain airbags along with a crash sensor. Other safety features include automatic tailgate operation, cruise control with a braking function and a parking assistant.

The BMW 520i’s interior combines Veganza Perforated & Quilted upholstery, four-zone climate control, and a wide iDrive display for a refined driving experience.

The interior of the car is both simple and comfortable. It has Veganza Perforated & Quilted upholstery and ambient lighting. The seats adjust electronically and have a memory function. Sport seats for the driver and front passenger add to the comfort. The four-zone automatic climate control makes sure everyone is comfortable. The BMW Widescreen display includes a 12.3” Digital Instrument Cluster and a 14.9” screen, all controlled by iDrive Operating System 8.5. A Harman Kardon HiFi Loudspeaker system offers clear sound.
