The Networks Group of the Manila Electric Company (Meralco) has successfully maintained its ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) certification, reaffirming its adherence to international standards in planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of its electric distribution system.

The certification, issued by TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines Inc. under the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand (JAS-ANZ), follows a rigorous audit process that evaluates operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

Meralco First Vice President and Head of Networks, Froilan J. Savet, emphasized that the certification reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

“This ISO certification for our Quality Management System reflects our profound commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Beyond demonstrating our dedication to delivering the highest standards of quality, it also reinforces our focus on achieving customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability,” Savet said.

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard that assesses a company’s ability to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes for its customers. Meralco’s continued certification underscores its efforts to enhance service reliability, operational processes, and overall efficiency in delivering electricity to consumers.
