BAFTAs fetes ‘Conclave,’ ‘The Brutalist’

Of 42 films, Conclave and The Brutalist emerge as big winners at the 2025 British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards held at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday, 16 February.

Conclave, which has 12 nods, took home four awards including Best Picture, Best Editing, Adapted Screenplay and Outstanding British Film. Meanwhile, period drama The Brutalist also won four accolades: Best Director for Brady Corbet, Best Actor for Adrien Brody, Best Original Score and Best Cinematography.

The films A Real Pain, Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, Wicked, Emilia Pérez, Anora and Dune: Part Two won two awards each.
