Ayala Land launches first luxury residential neighborhood in Davao

Davao City, Philippines – Ayala Land is solidifying its presence in Mindanao with the launch of Virendo, its first high-end horizontal residential development in Davao under Ayala Land Premier (ALP). Located in Toril, just 16 kilometers from the city center, the development is designed as an exclusive, low-density community within a master-planned, mixed-use estate.

The name Virendo is derived from the Spanish words verde (green) and pausado (gentle/deliberate), reflecting its vision as “an elevated verdant haven framed by Davao’s hills and shorelines.” The development offers 150 spacious residential lots, ranging from 450 to 1,803 square meters, set against rolling terrain with natural waterways and panoramic views of the Mt. Apo-Talomo range and Davao Gulf.

Residents will enjoy two premium amenity centers designed for both relaxation and recreation. The Residents' Lounge, located near the main entrance, offers indoor and outdoor spaces for intimate gatherings. The Sports & Leisure Center, positioned at the highest point of the neighborhood, features a social hall, pool complex, and multi-purpose court. The development’s amenities are designed by BAAD Studios, renowned for creating purposeful, experiential spaces that blend luxury with sustainability. The first phase of the 37.4-hectare development is set for turnover in the second quarter of 2029.
