Trump takes shots at Taylor Swift: 'She gets booed out of the stadium!'

It wasn’t exactly a fairytale night for Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl. The pop icon — who’s been a constant presence at Kansas City Chiefs games this season — received a cold reception from Philadelphia Eagles fans in the stadium.

Swift, who’s dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, was booed when shown on the big screen during a break in the first quarter. Sitting next to rapper Ice Spice, she seemed caught off guard, giving a side-eye and wrinkling her nose when she realized the boos were meant for her.

This was a big contrast to last year, when Swift partied all night with celebrity friends like Blake Lively and Lana Del Rey, even winning a beer-chugging contest to the delight of Chiefs fans.

So, why the hate this time?

For starters, Swift is from Pennsylvania and grew up an Eagles fan, so some Philly supporters might have felt betrayed by her public switch to the Chiefs Kingdom. But a bigger reason could be the sheer amount of TV time she gets at NFL games. Some fans feel her presence is overhyped, overshadowing the actual football action.

By the second half, with the Eagles dominating, the cameras mostly ignored her. Then came the post-game drama — Donald Trump chimed in, taking a shot at Swift on social media:

“The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!”

Trump even suggested the boos were due to Swift’s endorsement of Kamala Harris in last year’s election. Whether politics played a role is debatable, but one thing’s for sure — Eagles fans never hold back when it comes to their rivals.

Despite the icy reception, Swift didn’t seem too bothered. She was seen laughing it off, and her friend Serena Williams had her back, posting on Instagram:

“I love you (Taylor Swift), don’t listen to those booo!!”

Tough night for Swift, tough night for the Chiefs. But something tells us she’ll shake it off.
