Singer-actress Angeline Quinto is making her much-awaited return to the big screen as she gears up for an upcoming movie project.
On Instagram, Quinto teased fans about her involvement in a new film, as she was among the stars tagged by film producer Kreative Den. The post, captioned "Ang #HappyHomes ni Diane Hilario!", hinted at the movie’s theme, though further details have yet to be revealed.
Based on the teaser, the project will feature a star-studded cast, including Paolo Contis, Adrian Alandi, Richard Yap, and Eugene Domingo.
In a recent interview with THE DAILY TRIBUNE, Quinto shared her excitement about the film and reflected on what’s ahead for her as she celebrates her 15th anniversary in the entertainment industry.
“Noong nabasa ko po ang istorya na ito, sobra akong na-excite kasi talagang kakaibang istorya siya. Pero ayoko rin naman na gawin itong movie na ’to nang wala akong training ulit. So bago ko siya gawin, baka bumalik rin muna ako ng workshop para alam ko sa sarili ko na ready ako ulit na gumawa ng movie,” she explained.
(When I read this story, I was really excited because it was a really unique story. But I also didn't want to make this movie without training again. So before I'm going to do it, maybe I'll go back to the workshop so that I know for myself that I'm ready to make a movie again.)
Quinto was last seen on the big screen in the 2017 film Foolish Love. Her return to acting marks a new chapter in her career, proving that she is ready to take on new challenges in both music and film
