Mr. Rover is coming over!

Kai has officially completed his military service and was discharged on 10 February 2025. The EXO main dancer enlisted as a social service agent on 11 May 2023, and fans have been eagerly counting down the days for his return.

South Korea mandates that all able-bodied men under the age of 30 complete a minimum of 18 months of military service, as the nation remains technically at war with North Korea.

Following his return, EXO announced that Kai will be hosting a special live stream titled [KAI: Happily Ever After] on Tuesday at 8 PM (KST).

Streaming on YouTube, TikTok, and Weverse, the event will serve as a way for Kai to thank and engage with EXO-Ls who have continuously supported him.

Kai entered the K-pop industry in 2012 as a member of EXO, known for hit songs like Growl, Ko Ko Bop, and Love Shot.

In November 2020, he made his solo debut with his first mini-album KAI, featuring the title track Mmmh. Before enlisting, he released two more EPs — Peaches in 2021 and Rover in 2023.

With Kai back, only EXO’s maknae, Sehun, remains in service, set to be discharged on 20 September 2025.
