Grammy-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar is set to headline the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, joined by singer-songwriter SZA. The performance will take place on Sunday, 9 February 2025, at Caesar’s Superdome in New Orleans, home of the Saints.
Lamar recently dominated the Grammy Awards, taking home five trophies, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for Not Like Us, a track that gained traction during his publicized feud with Canadian rapper Drake.
SZA, fresh off her Grammy win for Best R&B Song with Saturn, will share the stage with Lamar. The duo’s iconic collaborations include the Oscar-nominated All the Stars from Black Panther and Doves in the Wind.
This marks Lamar's return to the Super Bowl stage, following his unforgettable performance in 2022 alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and 50 Cent.
The highly anticipated halftime show is expected to start around 8:00–8:30 PM ET. Fans can look forward to a powerful and memorable performance from two of the industry's finest artists.
In previous years, other artists have delivered remarkable performances during the halftime show, including Rihanna, Usher, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, and Madonna.
