Some balding men resort to hair transplants for better results.
London-born professional choreographer Kanah Flex chose the procedure and shared his experience through a video posted on TikTok, including its side-effect.
Some 8,000 hairs were implanted onto the top of Flex’s head. His scalp was injected repeatedly before transplantation, causing his head to swell, the New York Post (NYP) reports. A headband was put around his forehead to assist with the swelling.
A TikTok video of Flex’s swelling head shows him looking like Megamind, the main character in the American cartoon movie of the same name. Megamind has a supersized hairless head.
Flex does not look exactly like Megamind but the bloated portion is obvious in the TikTok clip. The swelling subsided after three days, according to NYP.
Meanwhile, a 61-year-old British woman used an array of wigs but not to hide a balding head. She wore the wig while taking citizenship tests in the United Kingdom (UK).
The woman was arrested on 25 January for cheating as she was found to be disguising herself as another person when taking the Life in the UK Test. Immigration authorities learned that she took the test for others in different test centers across the country from June 2022 and August 2023, Fox News (FN) reports.
“This individual is believed to have orchestrated a pre-meditated plan to avoid detection, meticulously selecting disguises and test center locations across the country to evade the authorities,” Immigration enforcement criminal and financial investigation inspector Phillip Parr told Sky News, according to FN.
