Isuzu’s Truck Triumph

DT

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) is celebrating its 25th year as the top truck brand in the country, proving its dedication to quality, reliability and customer satisfaction. In 2024, IPC sold an impressive 4,591 trucks, securing 41 percent of the market. The company also claimed the Triple Crown by leading sales in all three major truck categories: Light-duty, medium-duty and heavy-duty.

The Isuzu N-Series remains the best-selling light-duty truck for the 26th year in a row. In 2024, it sold 2,812 units, grabbing 43 percent of the Category III market. Known for its fuel efficiency, durability, versatility, and safety features, the N-Series is the go-to truck for businesses in retail, logistics and construction.

The Isuzu N-Series is more than getting the job done — it’s built to do it efficiently, safely, and comfortably. Under the hood, it packs Isuzu’s Blue Power Euro 4 technology, delivering power while keeping emissions low and fuel consumption in check. Whether you need a dropside truck, an aluminum van, a refrigerated unit, or even a fire truck, the N-Series is ready to adapt to different business needs.

Safety is a top priority, with a rigid chassis frame and a crash safety cabin designed to protect both driver and cargo. And speaking of the driver, comfort hasn’t been overlooked. The cabin is ergonomically designed, and with options like the Isuzu N-Series Smoother featuring an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), long hours on the road become much easier to handle.

“The Isuzu N-Series continues to lead due to its exceptional combination of durability and fuel efficiency. We are proud that it remains a staple across industries,” Tetsuya Fujita, IPC president, said.

Isuzu’s dominance isn’t just limited to light-duty trucks. In the medium-duty category (Category IV), IPC sold 1,534 units, securing 40 percent of the market. Meanwhile, in the heavy-duty segment (Category V), 245 units were sold, giving Isuzu a solid 33.2 percent market share. These numbers reinforce the brand’s reputation as the go-to choice for businesses in large-scale logistics and infrastructure projects, proving that when it comes to tough jobs, Isuzu delivers.

Isuzu’s success is beyond building great trucks — it’s keeping them running at their best. That’s where the Isuzu Advantage comes in, a full package of aftersales services designed to support businesses every step of the way.

With over 48 dealerships nationwide, help is always within reach. A massive 6,000-square-meter warehouse ensures a steady supply of parts, keeping downtime to a minimum.
