Cousins, McCullough power SGA to semis

Strong Group Athletics breezed past Sharjah SC, 100-63, early Friday to advance to the semifinal of the 34th Dubai International Basketball Championship at the Al Nasr Club in Dubai.

Four-time National Basketball Association All-Star DeMarcus Cousins dropped 21 points and 10 rebounds takes a step closer to the coveted crown.

Chris McCullough followed suit with 20 points and six boards for Strong Group while Mikey Williams and Dave Ildefonso had 11 points each.

Nicholas West had 19 points and seven rebounds for Sharjah, which is now eliminated.
