Social media personality and entrepreneur Rosmar Tan Pamulaklakin confirmed Thursday that she is withdrawing from her bid for Manila City councilor.

In a Facebook post earlier today, Pamulaklakin wrote “Yes, totoo ang chismis. OTW na po ako sa Comelec. Nakaabang na ang iba't ibang media. Para sa ikatatahimik ng lahat, magwi-withdraw na po ako sa pagtakbo, pero tuloy pa rin ang pagtulong sa mga tao.”

(Yes, the gossip is true. I am on my way to the Comelec. Various media are already waiting. For everyone's peace, I will withdraw from running, but I will continue to help people.)

Her decision to drop out of the race follows recent controversies surrounding her business ventures. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently flagged two of her skincare products for being unregistered.

Pamulaklakin, known for her massive following on social media, has not yet provided further details about the withdrawal beyond her social media statement.
