SGA sweeps Group A, enters quarterfinal

Strong Group Athletics picked up its fourth straight win after an 84-75 win over Amman United of Jordan in the 34th Dubai International Basketball Championship at the Al Nasr Club in Dubai early Thursday.

Malachi Richardson led Strong Group 24 points as they finished the Group A with a 4-0 win-loss record.

Chris McCullough dropped 19 points and eight rebounds for Strong Group while Rhenz Abando had 12 points.

Fadi Mustafa led Amman United with 20 points.

Strong Group faces Sharjah SC at 11 p.m. (Manila time) at the same venue.
