American hospitality company Radisson Hotel Group is set to open its first Radisson-branded hotel in the Philippines with Radisson Serviced Apartments in Makati City next year.
In a statement on Tuesday, the company said the upscale serviced apartment will be located in Salcedo Village, within the Central Business District of Makati, expanding the Group’s Philippine portfolio to 16 properties.
The property will feature 162 contemporary apartments designed for corporate and long-term guests, along with amenities such as a dining outlet offering local and international cuisines, flexible meeting spaces, a gym, and a pool.
According to Ramzy Fenianos, APAC Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, the planned property development will soon be followed by more developments that will help cement the Group’s position in the hotel services industry.
“We continue strengthening partnerships with local developers as more owners entrust our brands to deliver world-class hospitality experiences. This property represents Radisson Hotel Group’s first upscale offering in the country and is a significant step in our growth here,” Fenianos said.
Cactus Realty Corp, the flagship company of the ACI Group, was tapped by Radisson Hotel Group as a partner in this venture.
“The signing of this hotel management agreement represents a new chapter in our journey, and we are excited to embark on this venture with Radisson Hotel Group. Radisson's expertise and global reach will undoubtedly elevate our property’s standards and will enable us to tap into new markets, explore fresh opportunities, and create lasting value for our stakeholders,” Cactus Realty Vice President Denise Lieuson said.
Aside from this project, Radisson Hotel Group is also planning further expansion across key cities in the Philippines, with six hotels already operating and 10 more under development, including Radisson Blu Hotel & Residences in Cagayan de Oro and Fridays Boracay, A Radisson Collection Resort, both set to open in 2028.
Globally, Radisson Hotel Group operates over 1,460 hotels in 100 countries. The company is committed to sustainability, aiming for Net Zero by 2050 with initiatives such as carbon-compensated meetings and hotel sustainability standards.
