Get ready, wrestling and video game fans, as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) brings the action to your consoles and PC with the release of WWE 2K25 this year.
WWE 2K25 was first announced during the January 27 episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on Netflix, when WWE Hall of Famer and manager Paul Heyman officially revealed the game’s cover athlete. It turns out to be none other than the Original Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. This marks Reigns’ second time on a WWE 2K cover, having previously appeared alongside Becky Lynch in 2020.
In addition to the Original Tribal Chief Edition, the legendary WWE Superstar and Hall of Famer Mark Calloway, a.k.a. The Undertaker, graces the cover of the Deadman Edition. Lastly, a third cover features Reigns’ faction in The Bloodline Edition, which includes Jimmy and Jey Uso, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and the Samoan Werewolf, Jacob Fatu.
WWE will undoubtedly highlight Reigns’ wrestling journey, from his early run as part of The Shield to his legendary reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion for 1,300 days, along with the dramatic events of the Bloodline Civil War.
The game is set to raise the bar for wrestling video games, promising to "take the series to new heights." The game modes include Intergender Matches, a Bloodline Showcase, an Island of Relevancy mode, and the return of chain wrestling.
WWE 2K25 will launch on 14 March for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PC.
