Actress and TV host Bela Padilla announced her decision to make a full-time return to acting after years of living in London.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Padilla shared a short reel capturing moments from her life in London, where she moved in 2021.

“A few seconds of my life in London since 2021. I am temporarily closing this chapter as I prepare to work full time again,” she wrote.

Padilla reflected on her cherished memories of London, describing how the city shaped her both personally and professionally.

“Even if London will forever be the city that made me question everything I know in life and forced me to square my shoulders, walk faster, and be more vigilant… it will also always be the city that allowed me to smell flowers in spring and summer,” she shared.

She recounted her experiences navigating grief, battling her autoimmune disorder, and building lifelong friendships abroad. She also expressed gratitude for the lessons London taught her and hinted at possibly calling it home again in the future.

“London is polite but shouts when you’re wrong. Beautiful but rough around the edges. Kind but has a darkness that could scare the tough… my friend, London,” she concluded.

Recently, Padilla also teased her upcoming project, revealing a glimpse of her latest script titled “Love, Hate, Relationship.”

“Starting the year with a new script,” she captioned the reel, proud of overcoming writer’s block with the help of her friends.

In 2021, Padilla debuted as a director and screenwriter with her film “366,” starring JC Santos and Zanjoe Marudo.
