SoFA Design Institute recently had a phenomenal graduation fashion show entitled “Foregather,” held at The Fifth at Rockwell. The milestone event held last Saturday brought together and featured the works of 20 visionary fashion designers.
“‘Foregather’ was more than a fashion show, it was a convergence of passion, originality, and purpose. Each designer showcased their individuality while contributing to a collective celebration of creativity,” said SoFA’s co-founder Amina Aranaz-Alunan. “We are immensely proud of our graduates for setting a new standard for excellence and innovation in the fashion industry.”
“Foregather” served as a testament to SoFA’s dedication to nurturing and empowering the next generation of design leaders. The show presented a spectrum of design stories wherein each talent or artist can claim as their own. It spotlights the diversity of design philosophies, ranging from avant-garde and sustainable fashion to modern takes on cultural heritage which demonstrated technical mastery, powerful narratives, a point of view and most importantly, relevance to the audience. With “Foregather,” SoFA continues to solidify its reputation as the Philippines’ premier institution for fashion education, equipping its graduates with the skills, creativity, and resilience to thrive in an ever-evolving industry.
The show was co-produced by Our Own Little Way Production Company and was made possible through the generous support of Rockwell, Mega, The Fragrance Library, Deuces, Shoepatos/Doreen Odvina, the Rios Family in collaboration with Isaiah Cacnio for LED motion graphics, Ean Mayor of UDD for music, Bimpoman for fashion photography and filmography, and Bobby Carlos and his team for event hair and makeup.
