Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, Vice Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Finance, remains committed to driving growth and development in CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon). Through key infrastructure projects and expanded healthcare services, he aims to enhance connectivity, boost tourism, and create livelihood opportunities, ensuring no Filipino is left behind in the region’s progress.

Senator Go emphasized the transformative impact of infrastructure projects on local economies, public services, and disaster resilience.

Go, an adopted son of CALABARZON.

His efforts span across the five provinces:

  • Cavite: Support for road improvements like the Cavite-Batangas Road, flood control structures, and multi-purpose buildings in Bacoor and Dasmariñas.

  • Laguna: Rehabilitation of key roads like the Paete-Famy-Quezon Boundary Road, as well as street lighting and drainage systems to mitigate flooding in Nagcarlan, Pila, and Santa Cruz.

  • Batangas: Construction of major access roads like the Batangas Access Zone and San Pascual-Bauan Diversion Road, coupled with disaster-resilient structures in Lemery and San Jose.

  • Rizal: Projects like the Taytay Sports Complex, road rehabilitation, and the provision of ambulances and medical equipment for enhanced public safety.

  • Quezon: Infrastructure projects such as the Pagbilao-Tayabas Road rehabilitation and the completion of municipal health centers in Alabat and Dolores to improve healthcare access.

Senator Go also highlighted the vital role of infrastructure in driving tourism, a key economic driver in the region.

Apart from infrastructure, his focus on healthcare includes the continued operations of Malasakit Centers and funding for 77 Super Health Centers across CALABARZON, ensuring accessible medical services.

As one of the most dynamic regions in the country, CALABARZON requires sustained investment in infrastructure and healthcare to maintain its growth.
