Filipino-American beauty queen and Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel marked her second “crowniversary” with a heartfelt celebration.
On Instagram, Gabriel shared stunning snaps and reflected on her journey to the Miss Universe crown.
“Can’t believe this was 2 years ago today. The journey to the Miss Universe crown was a beautiful challenge that I will forever be grateful for,” she wrote.
Gabriel also shared some valuable lessons she learned during and after her reign.
“I learned so much through Miss Universe, and the lessons continue to unfold every day. It’s never too late to start something new, find your unique gift to contribute to the world, and it’s up to you to write your own story. There are so many memories I’ll hold on to forever. Thank you to the countless people that have believed in me and brought me to this place,” she shared.
In 2024, Gabriel embraced her Filipino roots, spending more time in the Philippines. She even took on hosting duties as one of the main hosts for the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
Gabriel made history as the first Filipino-American to win the Miss Universe crown, representing the United States in the 2022 pageant.
