The production team of tvN’s upcoming drama My Dearest Nemesis has released a statement addressing the recent leak of photo booth images of main cast Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook.

The leaked photos show the two lead actors dressed in matching leather jackets with their playful poses as they shared a kiss, which are scenes from the drama.

The production team clarified that the leak was unintentional and not part of a promotional campaign. They explained that the poster, which included the photos, was created by the photo company.

“We deeply regret the unintended leak of the four-cut photos featuring the actors. We ask viewers to look forward to the chemistry these two actors will bring to the drama,” the team said in a statement.

Adapted from a beloved webtoon, My Dearest Nemesis tells the story of a man and woman whose connection begins as online gaming characters during their school years. Sixteen years later, they cross paths again in real life, this time as boss and employee.

Moon Ga Young takes on the role of Baek Su Jeong, who unexpectedly reunites with her first love, Ban Ju Yeon, portrayed by Choi Hyun Wook, now her superior at work.

The drama My Dearest Nemesis is scheduled to premiere on 17 February.
