Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, announced on Tuesday that her cancer is in remission, bringing relief to the British royal family, which has been facing significant health challenges involving both her and King Charles III.
“As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am, however, looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead,” she wrote on X.
During her visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, Catherine met with patients to offer her support. She will also serve as a joint royal patron of the Marsden alongside her husband, Prince William.
"I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you to The Royal Marsden for looking after me so well during the past year," she wrote in a separate post on X.
"My heartfelt thanks go to all those who have quietly walked alongside William and me as we have navigated everything."
The 43-year-old royal revealed her cancer diagnosis in March, just two months after undergoing scheduled abdominal surgery.
Last September, Catherine shared that she had completed chemotherapy for her cancer, expressing her goal of remaining cancer-free.
