Listed property developer Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) has launched its first co-working space in Cebu City as part of ongoing diversification efforts to widen its market reach.
In a stock report on Monday, CLI said WorkNook in Base Line Center along Juana Osmeña Street in Cebu City aims to provide freelancers, small businesses and students with a modern workspace solution designed to address the evolving needs.
“WorkNook reflects our vision of creating spaces where today’s professionals can thrive,” said Joanna Soberano-Bergundthal, CLI’s Senior Vice President for Marketing and Leasing. “We’re excited to contribute to Cebu’s dynamic remote work and business scene.”
WorkNook is designed with both productivity and comfort in mind, offering “a fresh way to work” with a modern, inviting aesthetic and a variety of amenities.
These include private offices for teams, co-working spaces for individuals, and fully equipped meeting rooms for discussions or presentations. The space also features high-speed internet, office-grade furniture, secure lockers and a pantry with coffee.
A study conducted by Cisco in 2022 found that 37 percent of Filipino workers feel traditional office setups limit their potential, highlighting the growing demand for flexible workspaces like WorkNook.
WorkNook reflects our vision of creating spaces where today’s professionals can thrive.
Flexible workspaces are available at competitive rates, starting at P250 for a half day, P350 for a full day, P1,800 per week and P5,500 per month.
Private office spaces are available at P9,000 per month, dedicated seats at P7,500 per month, and meeting rooms in various sizes for professional use.
According to CLI, this expansion to a new market will further support the company’s commercial leasing portfolio. The company reported a 47 percent year-on-year increase in leasing revenues, with 9,219 sqm of new leasable space added to its portfolio. WorkNook supports this expansion, along with an additional 32,196 square meters (sqm) of leasable space currently in the pipeline.
