No year is complete without the annual Consular Ball by the Consular Corps of the Philippines. In the season of giving, it seems fitting to celebrate with consuls who collectively serve a greater purpose. It was their 49th year in 2024 — what a milestone!
This annual ball chaired by Consul Agnes Huibonhoa of Gambia strengthens the camaraderie between the diplomatic community and Filipinos, and prepares us for another year of positive impact. It’s always a gorgeous time being with these distinguished guests as they radiate from inside out — some literally with their fabulous evening wear! Whatever the cause, I always still love to see a fab fashion moment.
The evening kicked off with an elegant cocktail hour, followed by the program which was a line-up of inspiring messages, well-earned recognitions and an exciting raffle. I tried to catch up with as many as I could in my time there, but I unfortunately had to leave early for our company Christmas party for Amigo Entertainment Technologies Inc. Not to worry, I’m sure I’ll see more of the Consular Corps of the Philippines. Here’s to greater things in 2025! Cheers!
