Manuel V. Pangilinan to speak at PMA alumni gathering

Business magnate and philanthropist Manuel V. Pangilinan has been invited by the Philippine Military Academy Alumni Association, Inc. (PMAAAI) to serve as guest of honor and speaker at its upcoming Annual General Membership Meeting on 25 January 2025.

Pangilinan, the leader of the MVP Group of Companies, is recognized for his active role in supporting various programs that benefit Filipino communities.

During a recent courtesy visit in Pasig City, he was welcomed by PMAAAI officials, including Cav/Capt. Norsal Dimaporo PN '94, Cav/PMGen. Magtanggol Gatdula (Ret) '76, Cav/RAdm. The PMAAAI highlighted Pangilinan’s sustained efforts in nation-building through his group’s support for key sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, and disaster response — areas that align closely with the PMAAAI’s mission to address national challenges.

Pangilinan, in turn, acknowledged the military’s vital role in safeguarding the country, drawing inspiration from the sacrifices and dedication of PMA alumni. He emphasized that their example motivates the private sector, including the MVP Group, to work with greater commitment for the betterment of the nation.
