Mica Javier, wife of singer-songwriter Jay-R, took to social media to celebrate a major milestone for the well-loved Filipino chicken restaurant Andok’s, which has officially branched out overseas.

Javier's family owns Andok’s, a well-loved chicken brand in the Philippines that has been thriving for several decades.

On Instagram, Javier shared the exciting news about the recent opening of Andok’s first international outlet at Lucky Plaza, a popular Filipino mall in Singapore.

“When I was born, my mom and dad started a simple rotisserie chicken shop from nothing, so that they could afford to buy milk for their little baby (me) and their growing family. It was called Andok’s,” Javier wrote, recalling the humble beginnings of their family business, named after her great-grandfather, Andok.

Javier expressed pride in seeing her father’s dream of opening an international store come to life.

“Andok’s has grown and transformed tremendously since then, and one of my dad’s dreams was to open a store abroad. I’m so happy and proud to see this dream come to life, with our very first international outlet in the middle of Lucky Plaza, in Singapore,” she added.

Javier also highlighted her father’s joy at the restaurant’s growth: “The pride and joy in my dad’s face here is priceless. What an immense blessing to ring in 2025 with a beautiful new store, the first of many more to come," she wrote.

Andok’s, a household name in the Philippines, has been a beloved chicken brand for several decades. Its expansion to Singapore marks an exciting chapter for the family-owned business and a step closer to bringing its flavors to a global audience.
