Streaming giant Disney+ has released the teaser for its highly anticipated action-drama series, The Manipulated, starring South Korean actors Ji Chang-wook and Doh Kyung-soo.
The series follows Tae-jung (Ji Chang-wook), a man falsely accused and imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. As he fights to clear his name, he discovers that the man behind his devastating situation is Yo-han (Doh Kyung-soo).
Disney+ Korea has fueled excitement by sharing a teaser image of Tae-jung in a tense prison visitation scene, alongside a haunting shot of Yo-han casting an enigmatic gaze.
In a 2025 Korean drama preview reel, fans caught a glimpse of The Manipulated, featuring Tae-jung’s mug shot and his determined declaration, “I’m going to get out of here.”
Ji Chang-wook is acclaimed for his roles in Healer, The K2, and Suspicious Partner, while Doh Kyung-soo, known by his stage name D.O. as a member of K-pop group EXO, has made his mark in dramas like Bad Prosecutor and 100 Days My Prince.
