More than two decades after their iconic pairing, Jennifer Lopez and Ralph Fiennes reunited at the Palm Springs International Film Festival on Sunday, held at the Parker Palm Springs resort. The two famously starred together in the 2003 romantic comedy Maid in Manhattan, a fan-favorite film that showcased their undeniable onscreen chemistry.

Lopez celebrated the reunion on Instagram, sharing a heartfelt reel of Fiennes, who was honored with an award during the event. In her caption, she expressed gratitude toward Fiennes for his touching words and reflected on their time working together. "I cannot thank you enough, Ralph Fiennes, for your beautiful words and for our little Maid in Manhattan reunion today. It was wonderful to see you. You brought tears to my eyes," Lopez wrote, adding playfully, "That’s why I was sniffling through my whole speech."

Lopez also described their collaboration as one of the highlights of her acting career. "I love you. Thank you so much… Working with you was one of the great highlights of my career so far. I say so far because I hope I get to do it again someday soon for Maid in Manhattan 2… You never know," she teased.

In the 2003 film, Fiennes portrayed a Republican Senate candidate who unexpectedly falls for a hotel maid, played by Lopez, after mistaking her for a wealthy socialite. Their reunion rekindled nostalgia for fans of the beloved romantic comedy, sparking hopes for a potential sequel.
