Although they were not photographed together, netizens assume that Incognito star Richard Gutierrez and Batang Quiapo star Barbie Imperial celebrated the turn of the year in Japan.
On the same day, netizens noticed that Gutierrez and Imperial posted on their Instagram pages.
Gutierrez posted nine photos with this caption: “Arigato gozaimasu.”
Posting just one photo, Imperial’s caption was “Konnichiwa.”
Rumors of Gutierrez and Imperial’s closeness initially started when they were photographed together in a gastropub in Alabang during a birthday party.
Then Imperial was seen in a gym with Gutierrez. When the former celebrated her birthday, Gutierrez and his parents were in attendance.
Rumors of late has linked actress and vlogger Ivana Alawi to Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benitez once again.
This is the second time they have been linked together. The first was in February last year after they were supposedly spotted inside an airport in Japan.
In Showbiz Now Na’s New Year episode, host Cristy Fermin revealed how the recent rumor came about.
“Ito pong kuwentong ito ay puwedeng i-deny, idiretso at pabulaanan ng mga taong sangkot sa issue pero kung gugustuhin man nilang aminin ito sa publiko, maraming salamat (This story can be denied, straightened out and clarified by those people involved in the issue, but if they want to admit it to the public, thank you very much),” Fermin initially said.
Fermin praised Alawi for being a very popular vlogger who earns millions.
“Ayon sa aking source ay may bahay si Ivana Alawi sa Ayala Alabang (According to my source, Ivana Alawi has a house in Ayala Alabang),” Fermin revealed.
The house, according to Fermin, costs P400 million.
“Pero bakit bakit pumapasok sa eksena nitong P400 million na mansyon na ito ang pangalan ni Mayor Albee Benitez (But why is Mayor Albee Benitez’s name is being dragged in the issue of the P400 million mansion)?” Fermin said.
The showbiz host shared that the Ayala Alabang mansion was in Alawi’s name. She also revealed that Alawi and Benitez were spotted in the US during the Yuletide season.
In February, Benitez, in a Facebook post, apologized to Alawi after being linked to him. It came after Ogie Diaz revealed on his YouTube channel that the two were spotted in Japan.
“I went there on a business trip as stated in my official travel order,” Benitez said in his statement.
“Speculations involving Ms. Ivana Alawi are untrue and only serve to put malice into what was clearly a chance encounter. I apologize to Ms. Alawi and her family who have been unfairly dragged into issues concerning my private life. There is no truth to any and all the rumors spreading and I am setting the record straight to avoid further hurt and damage to them,” he added.
As TV Patrol’s 31 December was about to close, Karen Davila asked her co-anchors Zen Hernandez and Adrian Ayalin for their New Year’s resolutions.
Davila shared that her reflection for the year that was has something to do with being forgiving as life is short.
Then, Davila seemingly put Hernandez on a hot seat when she asked, “Wala bang kasal ng 2025 (Is there no wedding in 2025)?”
“Magpaalam na daw tayo (We’re asked to say goodbye now),” came Hernandez’s quick reply.
Although there is no confirmation yet, Hernandez is said to be the girlfriend of news anchor Atom Araullo.
