After the Christmas and New Year celebrations, Cebu is once again ready for the Sinulog Festival 2025, or the Feast of Señor Sto. Niño de Cebu.
Touted as one of the grandest and largest festivals in the Philippines, Sinulog is the secular counterpart to the Feast of Sto. Niño, celebrated every third Sunday of January.
On 8 January, a Send-off Fiesta Señor Mass will be held at the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño de Cebu.
On 9 January, Walk with Jesus at 4:00 a.m. and an Opening Salvo Mass at 5:00 a.m.
On 10 January, the Sinulog 2025 Opening Declaration Ceremonial Mass and Sinulog Launching Parade will begin at 3:00 p.m., followed by the Ceremonial Opening at 6:00 p.m. at the Cebu City Sports Complex (CCSC).
From 10 to 21 January 2025, the OSANino at 40 Exhibit by the Order of Saint Augustine will be held.
From 10 to 28 January, the Sto. Niño Exhibit will be at The Gallery, Ayala Center, Cebu.
On 14 January, Sinulog Idol will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Fuente Osmeña.
On 15 January, Miss Cebu 2025 will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Pacific Grand Ballroom, Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino.
The Balikbayan Welcome will take place at 9:00 a.m. at the Mactan Cebu International Airport.
On 17 January, Walk with Mary will start at 4:00 a.m., followed by the Traslación Mass at 5:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker National Shrine, Mandaue City.
On 18 January, the Solemn Foot Procession of the Venerable Image of Sr. Sto. Niño will begin at 1:00 p.m.
On 19 January, the Mananita Mass will be held at 4:00 a.m. at the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño, followed by a Pontifical Mass by Cebu Archbishop José S. Palma at 6:00 a.m. at the Basilica Minore del Sto. Niño. The Sinulog 2025 Grand Parade will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the Cebu City Sports Complex.
On 24 January, HUBO will take place at the CCSC.
