One dead, several homes damaged in a second-alarm fire in Barangay 118, Caloocan City

Initial investigation shows that the fire started in a three-story house owned by a certain Michael Ador.

According to FO1 Samuel Rentillo Jr., the estimated damage is around P200,000.

It was declared fire out at 5:36 a.m.

Just two days ago, a second-alarm fire also occurred in the neighboring Barangay 120. 

Update: One man was confirmed dead after the second-alarm fire that gutted a residential compound in Barangay 118.


It was reported that the man returned to his house during the fire in an attempt to recover some cash. 


The Northern Police District-Forensic Unit (NPDFU) and a local funeral parlor were able to recover his remains.
