SEAIT leads JGFP Minda winners

South East Asian Institute of Technology (SEAIT) topped the Senior High division at the close of the JGFP Mindanao Interschool tournament at the Pueblo de Oro Golf and Country Club in Cagayan de Oro City on Sunday.

SEAIT collected 520 points to handily beat Ateneo de Davao by 54 points with Rainier Tagwalan and Travis Cadungdong completing a 1-2 sweep of the boys’ division.

Isabelle Tabanas of Xavier School emerged as the girls’ champion, relegating Maureen Sia of Abbas Orchard to second place.

Davao Christian High School amassed 516 points to win the Junior High bracket dominantly with Notre Dame of Marbel Universty-Ibed in the far second spot.

David Teves and Johanna Blair Uyking were crowned individual champions.

In Middle School, Oro Christian Grace School was No. 1 followed by Abbas Orchard.

The individual winners were Jared Saban of SEAIT and Snoe Dalisay of Arrows & Quivers.

Abbas Orchard School captured the Lower School, beating Ateneo de Davao.

The individual winners were Ethan Lago of Ateneo de Davao, boys’ 7-8; Esthan Paul Tamayo of Notre Dame, boys’ 6-and-under; Soleil Ianne Molde of Living Learning Home School, girls’ 7-8; and Zoey Mascarinas of Abbas Orchard, girls’ 6-and-under.
