Newport World Resorts, in collaboration with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), has donated a fully functional mobile laboratory to the city government of Malabon, continuing its commitment to providing accessible healthcare to underserved communities.

The turnover and blessing ceremony took place recently at the Malabon City Hall.

The event was attended by a large gathering of government officials, including Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval, Ospital ng Malabon Chief Physician Jennifer Amolo Lim, City Administrator Alexander Rosete and members of the city council, as well as representatives from Newport World Resorts.

The mobile laboratory is part of the “LAB for ALL” program, a flagship initiative spearheaded by the Office of the First Lady.

The program aims to provide mobile healthcare services, particularly to those in remote and underserved areas.

The unit includes an x-ray room, a laboratory for basic tests, an examination room, a portable ultrasound machine, and an ECG machine, all designed to bring essential healthcare services directly to communities in need.

Newport World Resorts president and CEO Nilo Thaddeus Rodriguez expressed the company’s dedication to making a positive impact, saying, “We believe that our success is not only defined by the experiences we create for our guests but also by the positive impact we have on society. That is why we continue to strive to deliver compassionate service not only to our guests but to the entire community.”

The donation is a follow-up to the mobile laboratory provided to the city government of Caloocan in July 2024, marking a continued partnership between Newport World Resorts Foundation Inc. and PAGCOR to support government healthcare initiatives for underserved populations.

Mayor Sandoval and other local officials expressed their gratitude, highlighting the importance of accessible healthcare services in improving the well-being of Malabon’s residents.

The mobile laboratory will allow the city to offer essential medical services directly to local communities, ensuring that more residents have access to quality healthcare.
