Feel the Christmas cheer as Filinvest City in Alabang ushers in the holidays.
The next fun-filled holiday destination down south introduced its latest landmark, The Tree Events Stage at the heart of Central Park, on 28 November along with its annual tree lighting ceremony to mark the start of the festive season.
The event began with profound opening remarks from Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon, kicking off the evening to an excited audience. Prominent guests such as the Gotianun family, Filinvest City locators, and other special guests graced the event.
The main highlight was the presentation of The Tree Events Stage and the lighting of the mystical 42-foot Christmas tree decorated with life-sized Christmas ornaments and majestic reindeers.
As the sky dazzled in a tremendous fireworks display, guests were serenaded by Richard Poon, captivating audiences with timeless soulful Christmas carols, giving the festive feels a nice smooth touch to the night.
At the heart of Central Park
The Tree Events Stage, a stunning new venue designed to combine function and beauty, stood out as the focal point of this year’s celebrations. Taking its inspiration from nature, its design features curved columns wrapped in flexible fabric, resembling the elegant curves of tree branches. It features a dynamic lighting system, turning the area into a colorful canvas for creative light projections, resulting in a visually captivating experience during the night.
Its imaginative design, seamlessly integrated with the green surroundings of Central Park, continues to reflect Filinvest City’s dedication to sustainability.
Holiday celebrations for the family
This year’s theme, “Cherish Every Moment of Christmas,” captures the spirit of the holidays for locals looking to take a well-deserved vacation and create long-lasting memories in Filinvest City with their families. From 29 November to 20 December, top OPM performers will be featured in an exciting lineup of live performances at The Tree Stage every Friday. Each Friday performance will be capped off with a dazzling fireworks display above the Alabang skyline at 8 p.m.
Besides these performances, local musicians are set to perform. Every Sunday from 1 to 21 December, Santa Claus will be coming to town for a meet and greet.
Bike rentals are available for those who want to explore the lush environment, and guests can enjoy a range of culinary options at Eats by the Park, which is open Friday to Sunday at 4 p.m.
From 6 to 10 p.m. every night until 6 January 2025, Central Park will be transformed into a colorful display of Christmas lights, making for an Instagram-worthy feed of the breathtaking tunnel of lights.
