IDC Prime, a subsidiary of listed firm Italpinas Development Corp. (IDC), has partnered with Thailand-based Dusit International to bring two new hotels to Northern Mindanao.
The agreement, signed on Monday, positions Dusit as the operator for hotels within IDC’s upcoming projects, while IDC will handle development, focusing on sustainable green designs.
The first property, Dusit Princess Moena, will anchor the Moena Mountain Estate in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon.
Set to open in late 2029, the 1.5-hectare mixed-use development will feature an eight-story green building and luxury villas, offering panoramic views of the Dahilayan highlands, a region known as the "Baguio of Mindanao."
It will complement popular attractions like Dahilayan Adventure Park and Del Monte Pineapple plantations.
The second hotel, Dusit Princess Firenze, will open within the Firenze Green Tower project in Cagayan de Oro's Limketkai area. The 14-story green building, also slated for late 2029, will combine commercial, residential, and hotel spaces, catering to tourists and business travelers.
Its central location promises easy access to hospitals, business hubs, and commercial centers, enhancing Cagayan de Oro's appeal as a tourism destination.

For IDC Chairman and CEO Arch. Romolo Nati, the partnership with Dusit International will “elevate tourism in Bukidnon and Cagayan de Oro.”
Dusit, which operates 301 properties in 18 countries, currently runs five hotels in the Philippines, including Dusit Thani Manila and Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort.
