Linya-Linya Land returned to Mandala Park once again on Saturday, 30 November, for this year’s annual festival celebrating diversity.

Featuring local talents across various genres of music, entertainment and comedy, the event transcended communities and beyond through its carefully curated artist line-up.

Musicians such as Over October, Cheats, Oh, Flamingo! and other local artists delivered captivating performances, complemented with improv and stand-up acts from SPIT Manila, Issa Villaverde of Comedy Manila and more.

Lola Amour, the highlight of the night and the most-awaited artist, also took to the stage with its hit songs “Fallen” and “Raining in Manila.” The band also thrilled the audience with an exclusive performance of an unreleased track with Oliver Cronin, an Australian artist.

Unique Salonga singing “Kabanata” and “Sino” brought a soothing and tranquil dynamic to the musical line-up.

Other Filipino singer-songwriters, bands, rappers and wavemakers such as KJah, Apoc, Mhot, Marvin Royales and Bowling Night also performed at the festival, showcasing the talent of Filipinos across genres in the Philippine music scene.

SPIT Manila, Asia’s premier improv theater group, engaged the crowd during its set, gathering ideas from them that they could turn into jokes. They also brought along Madame Oracle, a fictional character portrayed by three male members who answer questions collaboratively, each contributing one word to form a clever and entertaining response for the audience.

Entertainment artist Hausmates delighted the audience with engaging improv acts, while Leandro Reyes captivated listeners with heartfelt storytelling through his spoken word poetry.

Your Tita Baby, a finalist from RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines Season 3, brought the colorful world of drag to Linya-Linya Land, making this year’s return even more memorable with an enchanting drag performance. This night was undoubtedly an unforgettable one, especially for the fans who received Tita Baby’s roses she threw onto the crowd.

The KoolPals’ GB Labrador, James Caraan, Nonong Balinan, Ryan Rems and Muman Reyes also graced the event, sharing jokes that elicited laughter from the Ka-Linya community, setting the event’s tone for an unforgettable night. Chanchang Consing, Jomar Jay and Mark Llamado also had their own sets.

In partnership with the Angat Buhay Foundation, AHA! Learning Center, The Learning Lab and PANTAY, the local clothing brand demonstrated its support for various advocacy initiatives, showcasing products at each of their booths.

In addition to the performances by talented artists, festival-goers were encouraged to participate in various fun and interactive games from Linya-Linya’s partner brands, Breakout Philippines, Puddy Rock Studio, and Heroes Headquarters, free of charge as long as they wore a Linya-Linya shirt during the event.

Kape-Kape by Linya-Linya also provided guests with an on-site coffee cart featuring a customized menu and “Linyafied” coffee stickers and hashtags, capturing the diverse moods of its customers.
