6 nabbed in Sampaloc narc raid

An operation by the Manila Police District’s Police Station 14 resulted in the arrest Saturday of six individuals allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade inside Nartatez Compound, Barangay 464, Sampaloc, Manila.

The arrested suspects were identified as Edwin Manarang (alias Silver), Mohammad Lucman (alias Mohammad), Edwin Teodosio (alias Bong), Mary Ann Manarang (alias Meann), Angela Reglo and Shiela Red.

The group was apprehended at 5:30 a.m. in a house belonging to a relative of one of the suspects. A police poseur buyer earlier purchased shabu from the suspects, and following the exchange of drugs and money, the six were arrested.

The suspects will face charges under Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and will be brought before the Manila City Prosecutor’s Office.
