Celebrity Derek Ramsay hit the ceremonial ball and went on to shoot a tournament-best one-over-par 73 at the Korean Country Club golf course to pace the low gross division of the Clark Amateur Invitational golf tournament in Clark, Angeles on Thursday.
Ramsay made four birdies against five bogeys to lead Bong Filart and Gadwin Belandres by one shot with Reymart Tolentino taking fourth spot after a 75.
Filart, however, led the low net bracket, posting a 69.50, just a shade ahead of Ramsay.
Action moves to the Mimosa Plus golf course for the final round on Friday.
