Aurora on the verge of elimination after second loss at M6 Group Stage

Filipino fan-favorite Aurora is on the verge of elimination after absorbing another loss this time against NIP Flash of Singapore on Day 2 of the M6 World Championship Group Stage this Friday at IOI Grand Exhibition & Convention Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Renejay, Edward, Yue, Domeng, and Demonkite took an upset loss yesterday at the hands of Myanmar's Falcon Esports. The MPL PH Season 14 runner-up had the chance to get back on track earlier today but took another blow instead.

"What we wanted to do was just play our game," Aurora head coach Aniel "Master the Basics" Jiandani said after the match.

"It did not matter what they picked, that was our mindset. Apparently, we still have not found that game yet. We were unable to show it yet. We have to look back on what we did before in order to move forward."

Though down by two matches, it is still not over for Aurora as they will still see action in three best-of-three matches moving forward. To make it to the Playoffs, Aurora has to win every match from hereon.

"The next matches will be best-of-three games. I hope we can adjust. We need to review what happened in the past two games, find out what happened and what we need to improve," Master the Basics said.
