Filipinas U17 bow to Young Lionesses

The Filipinas under-17 team suffered a 0-2 loss to England in the San Pedro del Pinatar in Murcia, Spain early Tuesday (Manila time).

Isabella Fisher struck first in the 36th minute before Emily Cassap made it 2-0 for the Young Lionesses after a header in the 56th minute.

With the loss, the Filipinas will have to settle for a bronze medal match against The Netherlands in a date yet to be determined.
