The Business Permits and Licensing Office of Las Piñas, in a strategic move to enhance the accessibility of business operations, initiated offsite services for business permit application and renewal at Robinsons Place 2 January and extending until 22 January from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The initiative aims to serve a wider range of business owners especially during the peak of renewal period and to bring them more convenience.
BPLO Chief Jesus Wilfredo Gaerlan encouraged current business owners and new applicants to begin their application and renewal process before the deadline.
"We encourage you to be there early to avoid being caught in a rush of those who will renew during deadlines and prevent delay for issuance of permits," said Gaerlan who also reminded applicants of the necessary documents for smoother and faster transactions.
For renewals, these include financial statements from the last two years, VAT returns from the previous year, homeowners clearance, and the previous permit.
Meanwhile, new applicants must furnish DTI or SEC Certifications, a contract of lease if renting, and homeowners clearance.
This initiative underscores the city's commitment to facilitating a more business-friendly environment and is expected to alleviate the usual congestion at City Hall, offering a streamlined process for business owners.
