A South Korean wanted by Seoul police for sexual offenses is about to be deported by the Bureau of Immigration.
In a report given to BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco, the BI Fugitive Search Unit identified the fugitive as Go Taiyoung, 44, who was arrested on 11 December along Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard in Parañaque City.
Go will be deported right away since the Bureau ordered his expulsion in 2021 after the BI Board of Commissioners issued a summary deportation order against him.
The BI chief had issued a warrant of deportation under the aforementioned deportation order, which the BI-FSU agents used to arrest him.
Go is temporarily detained at the BI warden facility in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City, while awaiting his flight to Korea.
BI-FSU chief Rendel Ryan Sy said Go is the subject of an Interpol red notice issued in 2020, which stemmed from a criminal case for indecent act by compulsion that was filed against him in Korvea.
The female victim reportedly submitted her complaint with the Seubo District Prosecutor's office in Seoul, which then issued a warrant for Go's arrest.
The complainant claimed that on 25 January 2019, Go coerced her into performing an explicit act when she was working at an internet café in Seoul.
She described how Go exposed her to pornographic videos stored on his phone and even took out his private part and touched the victim's right arm.
Tansingco hailed the Korean's arrest, saying foreigners who are sex perverts should not be allowed to remain in the country. BI records show that Go last arrived in the country in November 2019.
