The Armed Forces of the Philippines on Monday feted outgoing Defense Attaché of Brunei Darussalam to the Philippines, LtCol. Amilin Bin Haji Mohd Gani Haji Junit, for his contributions to Manila's bilateral defense ties with Brunei.

AFP Vice Chief of Staff, LtGen Arthur Cordura, extended the military's gratitude during the latter's exit call on Monday at the General Headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

The outgoing defense attaché was bestowed with the Chief of Staff AFP Commendation Medal for his work in coordinating the Philippines and Brunei's military relations including high-level visits, subject matter expert exchanges, and other training engagements.

"On behalf of the armed forces, I just want to express our deepest gratitude for your professional undertaking, your representation of Brunei in our relations, and administration of your duties aimed at enhancing our military partnership," Cordura said.
