CEB launches Manila-Da Nang flights

Cebu Pacific has introduced a new route that offers passengers the fastest and most affordable way to visit the largest city in central Vietnam.

CEB said the airline operates its flights from Manila to Da Nang three times weekly, beginning on 7 December (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays).

Travelers can expect the flight to arrive in Da Nang around 9:30 p.m. (Vietnam time) after it departs from NAIA Terminal 3 at 7:25 p.m. (PH time).

The flight from Da Nang to Manila will depart at 10:30 p.m. (Vietnam time) and arrive at NAIA Terminal 3 at 2:25 a.m. (PH time).

The airline added that CEB is the largest Philippine carrier to operate in one of the most popular tourist locations in Asia.

Third destination in Vietnam

Da Nang is the third destination that CEB serves in Vietnam. Additionally, CEB also offers flights to Vietnam's capital, Hanoi, and its commercial hub, Ho Chi Minh City.

Previously, travelers from Manila had to book a connecting flight from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or a nearby country and spend at least 10 hours traveling to Da Nang .

With CEB's new non-stop flight, passengers don't need to pay for an additional stop or wait at another airport during their layover.

They can reach Da Nang in three hours and save at least seven hours in travel time compared to flying via other airlines.

"From bringing life and love to the island of Siargao to transporting Filipino workers to Dubai, Cebu Pacific's inaugural flights have helped boost tourism in different regions and made it possible for travellers to discover places that used to seem unreachable," said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer.

History again

Da Nang is a popular tourist destination in Vietnam known for its luxurious resorts, architectural designs and delectable cuisine.

It is also the gateway to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites: the Hue Imperial Citadel, My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An ancient town.

Currently, CEB serves 25 international and 35 local routes throughout Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
