Woman caught with P500K shabu

The Eastern Police District on Wednesday seized more than half a million pesos worth of suspected shabu from a woman caught in a buy-bust operation in Pasig City.

The suspect — identified only as alias Mich, 26, a resident of Taytay, Rizal, and a newly identified high-value individual — was arrested in Barangay Pinagbuhatan.

Seized in the operation were five pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets and a knot tied plastic sachet containing more or less 75.8 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P515,440, a black pouch, and the P500 buy-bust money.

Alias Mich is now temporarily detained at the Pasig City Police Station custodial facility.

Charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were filed against the suspect.

Meanwhile, a newly identified high-value individual was nabbed for selling more than P400,000 worth of suspected shabu in a drug buy-bust operation in Pasig City early Thursday.
