Phl Army pays tribute to Andres Bonifacio

The Philippine Army commemorated Andres Bonifacio Day on Thursday through a simultaneous flag-raising ceremony and wreath-laying activity at the Headquarters Philippine Army in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.

Army Commanding General Lt. Gen. Roy M Galido paid tribute to the Bonifacio as he pushed for a compelling call to action, urging troops and civilian human resources to embody heroism in their every endeavor.

At the ceremony, Galido emphasized the importance of mutual understanding and a unified commitment to contribute to the nation's welfare and promote peace within the country's borders.

"Make sure na tayo ay nagkakaintindihan at isa ang adhikain na makatulong sa ating bansa at mabigyan ng kapayapan ang ating bayan," Galido told fellow soldiers.

In honoring Bonificio's contribution to the country, GAlido conveyed the Philippine Army's reaffirmation of its dedication to the ideals of heroism and national service.

"The organization remains steadfast in fostering unity and a sense of purpose among its personnel, reinforcing the commitment to serve the country and strive for the prosperity and tranquillity of our nation," said Galido.
