Las Piñas City celebrates National Children’s month

The City Social Welfare and Development Office of Las Pinas in celebration of this year's National Children's Month hosted a special event at the Excelsior Hotel in Barangay Almanza Uno on Wednesday, 22nd November. The gathering not only commemorated this significant month but also recognized the achievements of young individuals through the Most Exemplary Child of the Year award.

The event was spearheaded by Officer-in-Charge Lowefe Romulo of the CSWDO, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and nurturing the talents, hard work, and dedication of children in Las Piñas.

In her address during the event, she conveyed a strong message about the potential of today's youth to be tomorrow's leaders, underscoring the significance of the day's celebration as an acknowledgment of not only the awardees' achievements but also the potential and spirit of all children in the community.

The ceremony was also attended by Engineer Leonida Lagrisola, Head of the City Planning and Development Office, showcasing the city's unified support for child development and welfare.
