Airport officers return lost items to passengers

 
Office for Transportation Security screening officers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 and from Caticlan International Airport returned to the rightful owners important items that passengers left at the final security check-point prior to their departures on 15 and 16 November 2023.

On 15 November, a male passenger at NAIA Terminal 2, identified as Michael Rhoel Jimenez and bound for Tacloban, left his wallet containing about P10,000 in cash. On that same day, another departing passenger bound for General Santos City, identified as Keitnigel Gregory, left his wedding ring on an X-ray tray prior to his departure.

Both items were returned to their owners, with the OTS paging and texting the passengers to alert them about their lost valuables.

On 16 November 2023, the Security Screening Officer returned a small bag containing cash worth approximately P20,000 that was left behind by a Cebu Pacific passenger identified as Dion Salme Sumdad, bound from Caticlan Airport to Manila.
